Honorary Consul Donald G. Peterson

The King of Sweden, realizing the need for a Consulate in Denver, appointed Glenn Peterson as Consul to open the Swedish Consulate in May 1970 to serve Colorado, New Mexio, and Wyoming. With the forming of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, additional help was needed at the Consulate. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed Glenn's son Donald as Vice Consul in 1984.
